Spring Projects

Kyle's Dad decided he was going to put in a bigger shed this spring to fit all his stuff and was nice enough to gift us his old shed.  Kyle being the boy he is decided that it would be easiest to use the big toys to move it all in one piece instead of disassembling and reassembling, plus; what boy wouldn't want to use to big toys.

We were lucky to have tons of help too so it helped everything go quick and smooth.  I have to say I didn't realize how packed out garage was until we got somethings cleared out to the shed.  It's awesome to have!  Thanks Gary & Lisa!

Lolly Pop

Tyce had his first lolly the other day.  He gobbled it up... like it was candy. :-) Ha!

So angry when we took it away!

Angry Talk

Tyce's personality is coming out more and more every day.  Recently he has started angry talking, to bad I can't take him serious when he does it, he's just too cute!

A Day Out: Part 2

After we spent the day walking around Thanksgiving Point we were starving.  My Mom told me that we had to go to this cute shop she had found for lunch.  She said the shop was really cute just not quite her style, too much glitter and glam.  So we headed straight up the street to Alpine.  OH MY HECK!  When we got there I was giddy with excitement just from seeing through the window.  This is quite possibly the cutest little place I have ever been.
How frilly fancy and fun is this?!  You'd think this was a gourmet little cafe, but it's just a simple sandwich, soup, and salad place.  They've made the dinning experience so much fun using dainty whimsical bowls and plates, and the linens ad just the right touch! I should have taken a picture of the food but we were just to hungry when we got it; it didn't even cross my mind.

The sweets display was full of the cutest cupcakes, bunt cakes, brownies, and candies.  Mom and I shared a double chocolate bunt cake with cream cheese frosting.

The shop was full of these sparkly girly fun chandeliers.

The shop has everything from home decor, baby items, and vintage inspired clothing and jewelry.
I was tickled pink after we left.  I know where I am headed next time the hubs wants to make his pit stop to Cabela's.  Girls trip anyone?

A Day Out: Part 1

Now that the weather is turning we have finally been able to get out of the house.  Last week my Mom and I headed up to Thanksgiving Point to the Tulip Festival, which lucky for us had been extended because of the weather lately.  I have never been to the Tulip Festival before and let me tell you, I plan on going back every year!  It was breath taking beautiful!

Could this place get more picturesque? Doesn't this look like a scene from a fairy tale?

Tyce was entranced watching the water fall.

I really wanted to get a picture of Tyce in all the flowers but we waited too long and he ran out of patience.

A Day Out: Part 2 to come! Lunch at Dear Lizzy, quite possibly the CUTEST place I've EVER been.
