MoTab Christmas Concert

My Mom and Dad try their hardest every year to get tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert.  As some of you may know they only do a jackpot drawing every year, you have to enter for tickets and they randomly select those who go. Way more people enter than can go every year.

This year they lucked out, and so did we seeing that they asked the Hubs and I to go.  This was our first time attending.  It really was quite nice.  It's been a while since I've been all dressed up for anything, plus we has a good all be it last minute dinner, we also got to see the beautiful lights on temple square.  It definitely help me to get in the Christmas spirit.
Please excuse the picture quality...we only has the phone.
I hope we get invited again next time tickets come around!

San Fran

So this is a few months over due, but I had downtime today and thought why not just get it in now.

In October Tyce and I headed to Cali with my parents to visit my Mom's family.  I thought my visit was long over due since it had been like 7-8 years since I had been, and no one had met my little man but Grandma.
(Im such a slacker, there are virtually no pictures of the actual visit with family)

We decided to take some time out one day and make a day trip out to San Francisco since I had never been.  It was so much fun.  The weather was perfect!  I think I'll have to go back one day and spend more than an afternoon there it was so nice!
(plenty of pics here since we were texting them to Daddy all day long since he wasn't there)
 Alcatraz from the Warf
Looking at the Seals at the Warf

Eating lunch at Boudin Cafe; sandwiches on yummy San Fran Sourdough!
Eating ice cream at the Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Factory. Mmmm!
View from the top of the "Crookedest Road in America", we couldn't get one at the bottom looking up...let's just say Dad didn't enjoy driving in San Francisco in the least bit.
We crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and stopped at a look out on the other side.  Tyce was so happy to be out of the car! Maybe it had something to do with Grandpa's driving?
San Francisco view from the other side of the bridge.

At the end of the day we headed to a little town called Sausalito to wait out the traffic.  It was so cute, but we got there too late and all the shop were closing and it was getting dark so we didn't get to see much.  Definitely next time though!

Festival of the Tree's

Last week my Mom and I headed to the Festival of the Tree's.  This was this first time I ad ever been and holy moley was that thing huge!  Our feets were a aching when we were done... but not enough to not go shopping afterwards. :-) (Quilted Bear, H&M, Crate & Barrel)

It was so fun to see all the different decorations.  The only thing that was a little sad was seeing the pictures of the Loved Ones who have passed and trees were donated in their honor.  I am so blessed to have had a relatively worry free life in that aspect.

This was me and Mom's favorite tree.
It was a super fun day all-in-all and I think it has made it to the traditions list for next year!
