Thrift Store High

Last week my good friend Erin and my Sister In Law Hillary headed out on a girls day full of fun.  First we stopped at a local consignment store just up the street from my house that I had been meaning to stop in forever.  The store is chuck full of refurbished items that got our minds a spinning on new projects that we could do.  I noticed a lot of her items had fabric back boards, like in hutches and such, and i just loved them.  I'll definitely have to try it sometime.

Then we were off to the Bun Basket in Kaysville at the Secret Haven (or the old rock loft to some)  If you've never been there I highly recommend it.  Homemade soup and bread....yummm.

Next stop, the Centerville DI.  We had heard the the Centerville location was known for always having good furniture and both Erin and I hate making runs to the local Layton DI to find absolutely nothing.  About five seconds into the door Erin and I were like giddy little children in a candy store.  My 18 year old sister in law must have thought we were crazy.  We hit the furniture mother load!  All in all we made out pretty well and ended up hauling home 5 pieces of furniture.
Here's my haul

and these are some other pieces that I bought previously for the craft room

I went a little over board and I'm going to have to do some editing because I definitely don't have room for everything, but I couldn't help myself.  So if you or anyone you know might be interested in purchasing a refurbished item above and have a color request let me know!
